How to Bayo Dance

Dunban - October 5, 2017

Bayonetta is infamous for her somewhat erotic type dance moves. Most notable for making opponents salty as you dance at their misfortunes. (Note: Bayonetta's dances do not always make your opponent salty.) A few players have actually learned how to do Bayonetta's dances for themselves. Most notably being Phoenix1's CaptainZack, ranked 7th on the current PGR. This yearns controversy; as his rather stylish impersonation of Bayonetta is sought to be disrespectful. However, a lot of people, including myself, have gained a liking to the dances. I myself even learned how to dance like her. In this guide, I'll be teaching you how to perform the Umbra Witch's dances just like her!

The Style

Now, Bayo dancing at first might seem complicated at first. What I would personally recommend you do is watch how she dances and practice it yourself. A good video for this is actually Let's Dance Boys!; it showcases the unique style very closely and gives you insight into her moves.

Watch it and try to imitate it, then incorporate your own edge. It isn't essentially learning how to copy her 1 to 1, rather, knowing how she dances so you can be unique. You can also go into training mode and learn her dances step-by-step, if you want to do them directly. Make sure to set it to a lower speed setting.

This guide isn't going to be very long as there is not much to cover. Learning the dances is simply just practice, practice, practice. Note her style and imitate it, while adding your own edge. I hope you found this guide useful. If you have any further questions, feel free to shoot me a DM on Twitter!
